The 16th of february the group of Citygreeners in Italy met to participate in a roots cutting workshop managed by a volonteer from the locale environmental organization "Legambiente".
Claudio, the volonteer, introduced to the group of youth, that took part to the activity, his home garden, some aromatic plants and his vegetable garden.
After the littel tour we started the work!!
We learned how it is possible to multiply a plant!!
We chose to do this experiment the daisy flower!!
Fantastic, we will have a lot of daisies flowers around us in spring!! (we hope!!)
What we needed for this work: a good ground, pots, gloves, shears and the plant we would like to reproduce!!!

Once you have all of this,the steps are easy:
1st: make sure that pots are drilled, in order to let water drain once we watering;
2nd: fill the pot with ground and press to compact it;
3rd: take part of the plant and divide the root, remove leaves and make an orizontal cut in the part of the brunch you will leave outside;
4th: enter the brunch in the ground and play attencion to leave enough space to let roots grow.
Now the work is done and you just need to water it!!
